What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

His background is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
