TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
