TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, check here pricing, and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
